Our
Projects

Mina’s compositions and signature sound integrate jazz with classical, experimental, and intercultural influences. She creates globally oriented works that balance innovation and familiarity, crafting playful sonic landscapes that seek to resonate emotionally with listeners.

Her playing is influenced by contemporary jazz pianists such as Herbie Hancock and Eliane Elias, alongside classical composers including Erik Satie and Maurice Ravel.

Mina Yu’s solo piano album, A Day and Life, invites listeners on a journey through the quiet beauty of daily rituals - those small, often unnoticed moments that shape our well-being. From the rhythm of walking to the mindfulness of breathing, the album transforms the ordinary into something profound.

Drawing inspiration from a rich tapestry of influences - including Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie, Bill Evans, The Beatles, and Sting - A Day and Life seamlessly blends classical and contemporary sounds. Each track captures the essence of life itself, offering a deeply resonant listening experience that bridges the mundane and the extraordinary.

With its evocative compositions and unique storytelling approach, this project offers a fresh perspective on how music can mirror the flow of our days, celebrating artistry and human connection.

A Day and Life, Mina Yu
